                                                 Piercing nails clawed Charlotte’s skin   

                          She fought the presence that tried to take control

                                        It scratched deep wells into her flesh
                                    Charlotte felt as though she was trapped
                                              in one of her nightly nightmares
                                      Without warning Charlotte stopped fighting
                       She had learned from those nightmares to let the demons                                                                     wash over her
                       She forced the lower extremities of her body to go limp
                               This always betrayed the demons to their own greed
                                   When her opponent lessened its deathening grip
                                                          the opportunity came
                            Charlotte transferred her strength into her arms
                                             and fought hard for her life
                                                  tossing the figure away
                                            As always, the figure vanished
                                                      as though never there
                   Hysterical laughter from within the Conservatory filled 
                                                             Charlotte’s ears
                                    Only the sight of her father lunging into the 
                                                Conservatory eased her mind

Jocelynn Drake: Angel’s Ink

The idea of warlocks, witches, elves, trolls, minotaur, centaurs, werewolves, and other woodland creatures walking among the 21^st Century neighborhoods is fantastic.

Ms. Drake writes in the sagacity as one ranked in the league of fairy-tales weaved with reality that opens one’s mind to possibilities that the tattoo world was one of amazement as well as great potion.

Gage, the main attraction even though human breaks bonds and becomes part of the Olympians with warlock powers—which he later regrets.

Leaving the Magical Ivory Tower was harder than anyone thought it would be and tried to live among others who shielded themselves under the pretense of human form.

This is a Buyer Beware…a trio to be reckoned with.

I've completed the first two short novel (18,700 and 24,000 word count) of amateur sleuth Agatha-Josephine Friday Noonsday.

The third of the series I'm currently working on and have outlined the fourth in the series.

I have not submitted any of these as of date, I'm still waiting for the Mistress of Fanaman to be published.

Currently, I'm working on Agatha-Josephine Friday Noonsday, amateur sleuth and her sidekick Nicky.
These two high school students always find a way to get themselves into all sorts of trouble.

Agatha-Josephine claims the problem is in her blood since her grandfather, father and brother were all three in law enforcement, but in Nicky's case he likes Joe (that's the name everyone calls her) and he thinks he can save her from herself. Which proves to be a 24 hour job of mishaps, zany misunderstandings as well as murder.

To be released soon, come along and ride the wild ride with Agatha-Josephine (Joe), Nicky, Gramps, Mikey and Uncle Joe Friday. See if you can figure out why the author calls each story Gumbo?
